2 children are severely burned and 1 died as a result of a fire that erupted in their home while their mother abandoned them for a beer-run, among some other items she shopped for at midnight on September 17th, 2008.

Prosecutors say Nicole Allen went out for a midnight beer run and was several blocks away when the house caught fire. Investigators say a stove had been left on.

Nicole Allen is charged with 2nd-degree manslaughter and endangering the welfare of a child (3 counts) for the crime that left 3-year old Kamari dead, and 18-month old Dayvion and 2-month old Natalia severely burned.
