According to allegations by Levi Johnston, he is suffering some measure of custodial interference by Bristol Palin and/or the Palin family.  This is driving his desire to file for joint custody of their son, Tripp, in Alaska.

If you’ve been following the media and their voracious appetite for scandal, it would appear that neither side is doing what’s right by the child.  The dirt is being dished in public, much to the delight of more than a few tabloid media outlets.

From the article:

“At the end of the month I’m going to file for joint custody of Tripp,” [Levi] said Monday on “The Insider.” “Not working. I’m done. It’s going to have to go to court. They just finally pushed me over the edge.”

The actions of Levi with the media circus is unlikely to play well in Family Court.  Further, his recently posing for Playgirl Magazine might not help, either, but maybe he’s getting paid well enough to cover any child support obligations he may have.  Both sides need to settle down.

One thing is for certain – Levi Johnston, Bristol Palin, and both families could stand to read our article Communicating in a High-Conflict Divorce & Custody Situation.
